Abbie and Mike got married at Audleys Wood Hotel, which is a beautiful hotel in Basingstoke with a pretty garden. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun shone all day long!

Getting hitched

The ceremony was an intimate service in the beautiful conservatory. During the ceremony they read their own vows. It was such a personal service.

They decorated the area with gin themed centre pieces and sunflowers, which I loved. The reception was in a marquee at Audleys Wood Hotel – I love this venue because the light is gorgeous for portraits and candids. Weddings at Audleys Wood Hotel are amazing, because they’re always got such a great atmosphere.

The party

The couple had lawn games in the afternoon, and Pimms on the lawn in the evening. Liane Hopkins played the harp beautifully in the garden all afternoon making the atmosphere idyllic. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was surrounded by lots of smiling faces. They finished off the evening with a busy dance floor and lots of laughs.

Abbie wore a classic white dress and Mike wore a navy suit and they looked really perfect.

The couple got in touch with me a year before the wedding, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they wanted a fun photographer, and I loved that they just wanted to party.
